@MUI831: Yup, I got mine at Costco. It's one of those squishy ones. I forget how much I paid. $20 sounds about right. I don't think I would have spent any more than that.

I have two of those ^. One is by the sink and I can wash dishes for a hour and it's still comfy to stand. The other is by the fridge because we constantly get water on the floor and the mat is easy to clean up.

@MUI831: @mrs. wagon: sounds like I might need to make a Costco run!

@PurplePumps: kohls has some great coupons right now! Thanks!

@Sparkler: interesting, how do you clean it?

@LC: haha, they're seven months old & little terrors! I had to put elastics around my lower cabinets because they open them & pull everything out! I had no idea how much trouble kittens could cause, and they are cats 4 & 5 for me (I mean ever, I only have the two right now)! I would wait, but he's starting to eat the pieces of foam he rips out so it needs to go. But you raise a good point, maybe a super cheapo one is best for the moment.

The anti-fatigue ones are totally worth the $$ and even though the one I have is kind of ugly, I big puffy heart love it!

I have an indoor/outdoor rug from Ballard Designs. Inexpensive and easy to shake off and hose down if it gets messy.

Might be worth it to wait to replace until your kitty is a little older? Our cat was so destructive as a kitten, it drove me crazy... thankfully he outgrew it!

I've seen the squishy ones (anti fatigue ones :)) at Costco for like $20. Way less than what I paid for them off of Amazon or BBB.

I am not a huge fan of the look of the anti-fatigue mats, so I went with an indoor/outdoor Safavieh rug from Overstock and just bought a really think rug pad. It's comfy, adds to the decor and is SO easy to keep clean!

I got the anti fatigue ones from Kolhs, 20x30 for $40. http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-c65983/distinctive-home-anti-fatigue-kitchen-mat.jsp
I went through 2 other sets of mats before I got these and love them. They clean up easy and still look brand new a year later. Not sure how it would hold up to cats, but it's stood up to my dog running over them.

My mom got me anti fatigue ones from a Korean market down in Philly, and they are awesome!! They even have a faux wood grain print on them to make them "blend in" with my floors (I'm saying this sarcastically, they look pretty tacky) but I can't complain too much because they feel really nice. I think costco sells some?

i need a new kitchen floor mat. one of my kittens has decided to use the one i have as a scratching mat and he's shredded it :( i liked my old one, it was similar to this but with a less painful print on it (not that it's awful for other people's homes, that particular one just don't appeal to me, nor would it go with anything else i own). http://smile.amazon.com/Apache-Mills-60-122-0354-20X42-Gourmet-Kitchen/dp/B004Z9LTKC/ref=sr_1_5?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1412880707&sr=1-5&keywords=kitchen+mat

anyone have one they love? where did you get it? some of the anti fatigue ones get $$! under $45 would be my preference, also something that wipes off easily since it's in the kitchen & i'm a messy cook :) bonus points if it's kitten claw proof :D
