@Mrsbells: That one looks great! Honestly it's probably the same thing as the one at Container Store, and Container Store just charges more!

We have a kitchen island with open shelving that we use to store our pots and pans. The downside is that now that LO is more mobile she pulls everything off the shelves!! She even managed to pull the super heavy dutch oven...thank goodness she didn't hurt herself.

In our apartment, we utilized a corner to hang our pots--we hung a heavy chain on hooks and then had hooks for each of our pots. It looked cool and helped us with storage!

Just as an update I did find a cheaper bakers rack on Amazon that I am thinking of getting. it costs about $82

Yes -- not sure if this is what you have in mind, but we got it at the Container Store years ago and we love it.

http://www.containerstore.com/shop/shelving/interMetroreg/bestSellingSolutions?productId=10000968

We set ours up with three shelves below; the top shelf is a wine rack. The hooks hang our skillets and oven mitts, the main (wood) shelf holds our blender and espresso machine and a fruit basket, and we have random things on the shelves below (like the crock pot, placemats, some other serving pieces). And on the very top we have some cookbooks and baking items. (So in other words -- we store a LOT more on the whole rack than what is shown in the stock picture from their site).

we didn't have a lot of space so we got two long wall mounted pot racks and put them on the wall, and hung pots and pans on them. it was an awesome space saver! you could also consider adding a shelf somewhere if there is space and put pots on that. also, while not ideal, we keep a lot of stuff in the oven and just take them out whenever we cook

Our current apartment has tons of storage space in the kitchen with some floor to ceiling cabinets. But our new apartment doesnt have a lot of storage space in the kitchen which sucks! I am thinking about getting a rack to store some pans. Do any of you have anything like that?
