<description>&#60;p&#62;You will have to compare the gauge in the pattern to the gauge on the yarn you want to use. If the pattern says 4 stitches per inch but the yarn you want to use says that it does 2 stitches per inch,  it will likely take about half of the yarn. Not sure if this makes sense, but happy knitting.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I am planning to make my LO a baby blanket. I found a pattern I like (super easy, just garter stitch the whole way), but it's with normal weight yarn. I want to use bulky yarn on bigger needles. When trying to decide how many skeins I will need, is there an way to decide? I know I want need as many as the pattern calls for, since I'm using bigger yarn.
