I actually prefer it on the pan or baked in the oven!

You can just broil it and flip the meat over every few minutes. A broiler is essentially an upside-down grill. It wont have the charcoal taste but its fine. My mom also cooks it in the pan at home sometimes, but it takes a long time to cook the meat to the point where all the juices caramelizes and gets crusty.

Just throw it on a pan on the stove! I almost prefer that taste.

Sure you can bake it! No idea on the times though. I usually just cook it on the stovetop.

I've baked kalbi in the oven on a rack and then put it on broil at the end. I have also pan fried. They both turned out tasty..I'm not Korean though!

You probably can, but you won't get that char taste. I use my NuWave to cook Kalbi when the weather is bad outside (aka pouring cats and dogs) and grilling seems silly.

Heya! My mom picked up some marinated LA kalbi this weekend at the market and wants to cook it up for lunch. I'm way too lazy and tired to go buy some charcoal, start it in the chimney, pour the coals into the grill, then cook... can I bake or broil them instead? How long/what temp? Or should I just suck it up and BBQ them?

Thanks!
