Her backpack is embroidered with her name and had a luggage style tag. She keeps a change of clothing in her bag and her locker (locker is in the classroom). The teacher requested each change of clothing be in a gallon ziploc bag and just label the bag.</p> <p>Supplies are community style so they were not labelled. My DS lost his North Face jacket last year. It turned up in the lost and found of my DD's school of all places at the end of the year. The school counselor recognized our last name and sent it home with my DD. We also label show and tell items for my DS. At the end of each of the previous two years I had amassed a HUGE collection of clothes in my grade one room which "nobody" owned. lol. Labels would have been lovely.<br /> Use first name for labelling so you child can identify their own things, most kids can barely read their own name in pre-K, their last name is unneccesary.
