Jeeze this week has been rough! DS will sit on the potty, but mostly he needs to be bribed with the tablet. I take him to the potty frequently, but he doesn't seem to care if he pees in the potty or in his training pants, but he does want an m&m!

I've been having him go naked in the house when possible but he still has a lot of accidents. He is also constipated despite taking probiotics, fiber, and prune juice, but he's done pretty well with pooping on the potty.

His daycare teachers don't seem thrilled to train him. He can hold his pee for hours, but I don't think he's going on the potty at all there. He has had 1-2 accidents per day there and when I pick him up he's got a pull up on under the training pants for some reason.

I'm wondering if I should try putting regular under the pull-ups but I'm not sure if DS will care if he's wet. He can't seem to sit still on the potty at school so I'm thinking of bringing a special potty book for him to look at.

We totally planned to. And spectacularly failed. Discovered the sticker method and toy reward just was not interesting to him. It didn't help that he got some milk and Saturday morning started with some lovely diarrhea.

Then DH was pathetically sick with a man-cold and I just gave up.

But he sat on the potty twice! And didn't pee either time. Ugh, that sounds pathetic. Haha, guess we'll be taking it slow :silly:

Sounds promising! Good job, mama!
We aren't pushing or using any particular method, but I keep feeling like I should step things up a bit as LO has been training for more than 6mos. But, she does nearly always poop on the potty & is about 50% successful with peeing on her potty. I feel like a big hypocrite knowing how many pull ups we've used after having used cloth diapers for environmental reasons up until potty training. :bummed:

Did anyone else potty train this weekend? We're on day 3 of a boot camp/naked method. DS is 28 months and has been wearing pull ups for a couple months after a halfhearted attempt (by me) at training him.

On Saturday I didn't commit to staying in cause I needed to go to yoga after the week I had at work. We left the house in cloth training pants and he had one pee accident right when got to the gym childcare. When I picked him up he had just had another, less than an hour later. I was out of clothes so he came home in a pull up and tshirt :silly:

Yesterday we did naked time and he had 1 pee accident first thing in the morning, then stayed dry til after nap time! He had a poop accident after dinner though, ugh. At least we have laminate floors. This morning he had a little pee accident but realized what was happening and finished in the potty. I think we're making progress.

Is anyone else in the middle of potty training?
