I think it a bit of both. LO1 is 2.5 and LO2 is 3.5 months. For a while, LO1 was ignoring me and pushing me away when her sister arrived. But, I noticed her whole attitude changed when I spent just 15 min of one-on-one time w/ her (even better if I put her to bed). I think it's hard being 2 and having your world turned upside down.

Awww I'm sorry  That would make me upset as well, even if it is just typical toddler behavior. If you think he might want more one on one time, do you think maybe like one day a week, for a few hours on the weekend or something, your family could watch your younger LO so you could spend more time with your older one? Do something fun like the zoo or park? Maybe he is just adjusting to the baby and needs some time.

My son just turned 2 this past week. He is a major sweetheart and the most easy going kid in the world. I (unfortunately) work full time and we just had a second baby 5 months ago. Because of this I don't have nearly enough one-on-one time with my son. Our nanny is fantastic and we have family close by, who help out often. I have noticed over the past few weeks that my son seems to have days where he wants nothing to do with me. He pushes me away when I hug/kiss him and does't seem interested in playing with me at all. He is still his normal, playful self with the nanny, daddy and grandparents. I am having a lot of guilt over this and am wondering if this is just normal toddler behavior, or is he trying to tell me that he needs more "mommy" time. I am finding this really distressing and hope to get some advice!
