When I walked in with my husband there was a group of about five 30-40 year old men hanging out and talking about brewing, as if they hang out in the store a lot. I asked the owner (who was talking with the guys) about where to find brewers yeast (obviously pregnant) and they all looked at me confused and proceeded to ask a bunch of questions about what type of beer i'd be brewing and how many gallons i was making, etc, etc. I dodged all their questions because i didn't want to talk to these men i don't know about lactating and then one proceeded to accuse us of making "something illegal"... i have no idea what he meant, maybe he was thinking like pot brownies but with brewers yeast??? Finally i just asked them to show me where it was so i can pick it out myself and once they showed me they STILL kept asking about what kind of beer so they could help me pick the "right" yeast.
