No bueno! We have a decent room now, but before we moved offices and during the move, we were in a corner office with floor-to-ceiling windows (thankfully, it had blinds), room temp at 69 or lower, and no furniture. We had to sit on the floor and hope the freezing room didn't affect us while pumping!

I work at 10 different schools and my pump room was very different in each. I often was in a bathroom or closet. I also made use of my commute to work and pumped while driving. It sounds totally unsafe and I was scared I would be pulled over but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Wow, some of those are rough! My organization's lactation room is pretty nice, but far from perfect. It's a windowless room with two curtained-off "stations" and a pretty uncomfortable chair in each. But there is a sink and a fridge in the room, and it locks, and it's located on my floor with plenty of availability. If they provided a hospital grade pump that would be amazing!

I work in Seattle as well. Although we do have a nice lactation room with a hospital grade pump, it's shared amoung so many women that I can't even get a spot on the calendar to use it. I end up begging to use someone's office or using a closet with a nursing cover on.

Yikes!

I work in Seattle and luckily my company moved into a new building a few years ago so we have 3 mother's rooms (one on each floor) that is equipped with a comfy chair, sink, refrigerator and filtered hot and cold water. I don't work for one of the well known companies in Seattle but I'm glad that my company made sure to have them.
