Only once . . . and I went back to have it corrected (blended), and when it didn't come out as it should, I ended a 3 year relationship with my colorist. He just didn't want to listen. : /

Also, every once in a while my (usually reliable and very expensive!) colorist misses the mark a bit . . . For example, this last go 'round, he didn't put enough light highlights around my face (so I feel a little dark), and the color is just a tad brassy (which I *hate*). If it bothered me enough, I would totally ask him to fix it.

Because coloring my hair makes me feel like I have super powers . . . and the entire world seems brighter with fresh color. It may sound silly, but it is so true!

I've had that happen before =/ I found a great stylist in Boston and then when we moved to the NYC-area I had three bad experiences before finding my current colorist. She's super expensive but well worth it to not have to inspect my hair whenever it's done! If you want a Boston/Boston-area recommendation, let me know :)

I have not had that happen but I would be annoyed if it did. Getting your hair colored is so expensive. Have you called your hair stylist? She'll probably fix for free or not much since it's her mistake and she won't want to lose you as a client.

Could you use a little bit of Just for Men hair gel to make it less noticeable? Every once in a blue moon, I find a spot where it dripped and nobody caught it. I just cover it up with that stuff and in < 5 minutes, i rinse it out and it's fine.

Have you ever had a 'bad batch'?

I get my roots touched up every 8 weeks or so. I love my stylist but last night when I was drying my hair I noticed a foil line. Like a spotty section where a horizontal line goes across unhighlighted hair! It's under a little bit, but close to the crown. If I part it the wrong way it would be really noticable.

Has this ever happened to you? What would you do??

It was so hard to schedule an appointment.... ugh..
