It sucks, and I can tell you that I was very angry for a while after my surgery... but in the end I am so glad I went through with it because I would never have been able to have DD without the surgery. ((hugs)) I hope you feel better soon.</p> <p>ETA: You might also ask your doctor for a reasonable timeline to try naturally.,.. my doctor gave us 6 months to try on our own before moving to IVF (she thought IUI was pointless in our situation). She was afraid that if we waiting any longer than that, we risked my endo re-growing the blockages we had cleared and putting us back at square one. Surgeon found that I have stage 4 endometriosis, which is the worst (as you probably know). He removed all that he could find. He said it was blocking the eggs from coming out of the ovaries. So without the surgery, it would have been impossible to achieve pregnancy. He said it's now going to be possible and he will know on my follow-up if he thinks we should try naturally, IUI or IVF. I'm so grateful to have found the problem and I'm very hopeful. Right after the procedure, I was a little nauseated- and when they asked if I wanted to go home- I told them not until I had another bag of IV fluids and phenergan.
