@mediagirl: we've been alternating ibuprofen and orajel the last week. She's cutting 4 teeth right now and it's a miserable mess!

I hope your LOs teeth come through quickly!

Yes, bubble. Top gums were super swollen and had bumps before top 2 teeth came through.

Yep, my LO had bumps on his top two teeth before they started breaking only recently.

I was wondering the same thing. We have the bubble/bump for all four top teeth. They are not red and angry looking yet which is what happened with the bottom ones. His gums looked streaky and red when those popped through.

Yep, I usually see humps on the gums before a tooth finally breaks through. Totally normal. :) I think canines don't usually break before 1 year, but my DS got all his molars in before his first birthday, so I guess it happens sometimes!

M has had a big bump on her gums right where her canine would come in for a couple of days now. She hasn't been drooling much but she has had her finger in her mouth almost constantly. I didn't see this with her other teeth so, I'm curious - did you see a big bump on your lo's gums before the tooth erupted?

Related: Isn't 10 months early for the upper canine?
