Thanks for the feedback!
I haven't been in several years so I don't remember, but do places other than casinos allow smoking? Hmm, maybe LO (and we!) might enjoy it more next year...

I say it's fine, but I've been with my LO's several times because DH goes there for business. I don't gamble, so we never hung out in the casinos. DH just did his thing after the girls' were asleep. The buffets allow kids, and the Four Seasons has a couple great restaurants that are kid friendly. DD1 loves the atrium and fountain show at the Bellagio and the aquarium at Mandalay. We also did at lot of shopping. :)

Doable if you have some sort of suite or adjoining room. You don't want to be stuck whispering in a dark room after your LO goes to sleep. We went with our 8 mo old. It was fun but not sure we would do it again. Would have had more fun renting a house in Palm Springs or something along those lines.

Nay. Most of the good restaurants are not child friendly, and you will be bound to the hotel room after bedtime which means you aren't really enjoying the things that make Vegas famous. We saw so many people with babies out late in smokey casinos and I'm not going to lie I judged them hard.

If you're doing child friendly things, yay. For us it's been nay, though. LO stayed with grandma.

I say yea. But I'm biased. I'm taking my baby who will be eight months for a wedding.

They have an awesome children's museum! N really had a great time when were there in December. We also took him with us to a cir show. My mum and I walked the strip and shopped N loved people watching.

We're staying with my parents in southern CA, and were wondering if a road trip with LO (2-4 days) would be fun or a hassle. Have you done Vegas with a young toddler? Worth it? Tips/tricks? (I'm not interested in gambling, but I imagine DH would spend a couple of hours in the casinos after we've gone to bed).

ETA-just us 3, no grandparents.
