I just talked with my doctor, who had no advice. She said since she couldn't find anything, she would advise against it. </p> <p>The clinic just called back &amp; told me they don't do treatments during pregnancy or nursing. Such a shame I didn't think of doing this sooner!!! However, during my consultation, they said if at any time I become pregnant, they would stop the sessions and resume after I give birth. I would think it's safe during TTC though!</p> <p>Also, there's no swelling after the procedure is done. You may be a bit sensitive a couple hours afterwards, but there's no residual pain once the laser stops pulsating against your skin. It's not safe for pregnancy, or at least most will not do it if you tell them you're pg. I had 3 sessions left when I got preg and they wouldn't do it. I told DH that I'm going to make sure that I finish it ALL before getting preg w/#2 bc you really cannot see to shave once your bump gets huge! </p> <p>I was doing armpits and Brazilian bikini, FYI, and they wouldn't laser either area when I let them know I was preg. It was quite a time commitment every month for some areas, every other for the bikini for over 2 years and its not 100% i still shave. The place i went to said TTC is fine but once you get pregnant you can't get laser treatments. So, I am finally DONE with shaving my bikini area. After hanging out with two girlfriends over the weekend, who have had laser hair removal, I decided I'm going to as well. Seriously, it looks amazing!! ANYWAY, I wasn't sure if anyone else has done this while TTC. Is there a long healing process when you don't want to be touched? Like painful swelling? And, I wonder if it's safe during pregnancy. Overall, I'd love to hear your experience, and if you did the whole shebang, or just the bikini line. </p>
