We took my nephew while he was still the only kid in the family. It will always be a special day. Last year we watched fireworks in the whole valley from the top ridge of a winery with friends, and I drank sparkling water instead of champagne. It's my 30th, and DH has been planning a surprise for me for a while AND we just found out I was pregnant a week or so ago. So he has been juggling two secrets. I imagine it will be special, but I'm not sure what's going to happen. My work is opening up their roof top deck so we should have a great view of fireworks. We usually hate dealing with traffic afterwards but I think we should just do it. </p> <p>I have no idea when we'll take the babies to see fireworks. Probably not next year. Oh, I know it's not really our 'last' July 4th. It does feel like our lives will be changed after the babies arrive. </p> <p>Anyone else making this July 4th a bit more special because they are pregnant? </p>
