I love how it turned out and it was nice feeling pampered.</p> <p>I wore a maxi skirt and top for half the photos, then a pretty sweater and white pants for some, and a beautiful ruched (slimming!) dress for the rest. I felt great. I had mine done at almost 36 weeks, so I had a sizeable bump as well! I brought 4 different outfits to wear, so we had lots of variety, and my photog (who is an accredited maternity photographer) asked about any insecurities etc before we started (I didn't have any, but they know how to minimize things that you aren't comfortable with). I also got my mini-makeover that day (hair, makeup mani and pedi) which made me feel really awesome, and I am sure that will show in the pics. Wear something you feel cute in, jeans and a maternity top or a maternity dress. If you wear a dress, do the holding in your belly thing so the dress doesn't look like a tent. If you're really unhappy with your face (I was, as well) ask her to take a lot of neck, down photos. Those were my faves from my shoot 2 weekends ago. </p> <p>Try to have fun with it. It's a wonderful gift, just think you can show your LO where she lived before she was out here when you have them done! </p> <p>All that being said... A friend of hers is an amateur photographer, and so my sister wanted to give me a present and surprise me!<br /> I swore I would never get maternity photos because I feel very insecure about the way I look pregnant. I feel like my face looks fat all the time and I have trouble finding clothes that are flattering. However, I really appreciate the gift and so my DH and I will be doing a photoshoot on Sunday. </p> <p>Those of you that have done maternity shoots: Do you have any advice? Tips on what to wear? Poses that you felt were flattering and made you feel comfortable? I am sort of freaking out because I don't even know where to start!<br /> I feel like now (37 weeks by Sunday) is such a bad time to do the photos--I am HUGE!<br /> HELP! :) </p>
