The baby is still packable enough for Disney. I don’t love the beach and prefer the pool while vacationing. Sand everywhere, sunscreen, trying to chase uncontained children- nope.

Disney.. the beach when my girls were that little was a nightmare . They were crawling around putting sand in their mouth the whole time and I couldn't relax unlessthey were napping. Plus 4 is such an awesome age for Disney World!!

Disney!! They seem pretty family friendly, and I just love it there- so I'd always vote for the Mouse!

We did Disney when DD was 2.5 and again when she was just shy of 4 and baby was 9 months. We had a great time on both trips. I'd say go for it. Disney makes things very easy for families.

OMG nooo lol I hate doing the beach with babies. I think Disney is SUPER baby friendly. They can get on almost everything. I would for sure go see the Mouse!

Cosign the above, especially if money isn't an issue (I'm assuming not since you already booked Disney). We intended to spend two days at the beach in the Clearwater area with our then 22 month old last summer. I think we lasted half a day on the beach and ended up going to Disney the next day anyway! It just got too be too exhausting chasing him around and keeping an eagle eye on the water. I haven't taken a baby to Disney yet, but I find them very accommodating of families in general.

You already booked it, I would go! 8 months I feel like is still "easy" as baby can't walk yet anyway so I'd just probably babywear all day and then he can nap that way too, or he can just hang out in the stroller.

The beach is hard with babies. You have to keep them out of the sun and busy. Great for a day trip but I wouldn't want to do multiple days

We booked a last minute trip to Disney for February with our DD who is 4 and DS who is 8 months. We took DD to Disney when she was 2 1/2 so this would be a 2nd trip for her. I am now torn as to whether or not to go with the planned trip or bag it and do a Florida beach vacation ( st Pete’s, Marco island or siesta key). My mom thinks Disney is too much with the baby and we would be better to do something more low key. I feel like with Disney we have everything right there and a rental or hotel elsewhere means more packing etc. Help!! What would you do??
