@rachiecakes: I made her nurse one more night just for me but she is done.

@Thehistoryofus: I let her nurse herself to sleep instead of making her fall asleep I. Her crib. Then I took a picture with my phone.

@Mrs. Bee: I thought she wouldn't wean easy because she loved nursing so much but I just had my husband help me now of course I am little sad. But we are going away in February and I wanted her weaned by then so I knew I needed to.

Aww just curious, did you do anything ceremonious for the last session? We now go over 24 hours for my 18 month old without nursing so I think I could stop whenever I wanted to but I just don't know how to completely give it up!

Great job Mrs. Train, you did it! I know exactly how you feel. My LO was just not interested in me any more either at 13 mo. But you have lots of milestones to look forward to. congrats!

Awwww. I can only imagine how I'll feel when my LO weans. While it definitely isn't snuggling time for us (he's all business and then likes to claw and squeeze my boob), I do feel like we have a special bond through breastfeeding.

@Mrs. Train: aw, I felt the same way! I kept offering and nope, no go.. a few days of that and I knew we were done. I miss that time with him.

Awww!! Does she enjoy sitting in your lap to read books? That would be a good time to snuggle.

I have now gone 24 hours without nursing my daughter. I think we are completely done. I have to admit I am a little sad. I know she is my last child and I'm not sad about no more babies. I am just sad that my last one is getting older so fast. She is 15 months old so I guess that's pretty good but its still makes me emotional to think I won't nurse her any more. I guess I will have to find other snuggle time.
