I did see where the top tether stays hooked always. That will take into account the car's weight limit as well. </p> <p>If your car seat was made prior to February 2014 you will have to look up the vehicle limit as well as the weight of your seat. </p> <p>When forward facing a top tether does not have a weight limit. I didn't realize that there was a weight limit for LATCH installation. Thankfully my son isn't to the weight limit for his Graco 4Ever All in 1 when I found this out, but I figured I would share in case someone else didn't know this. </p>
