LOL! For some reason I thought this post was about skin care products from the late 1920's!

Anywaaayyys, I"m not in my late 20s anymore (boooo) but when I was, I used a lot of Clinique products. Seemed like the popular brand to use at that time.

I just wash my face with Cetaphil, and use St. Ive's green tea exfoliator once a week. I moisturize with Cerave's AM and PM, not totally loving them, but it works and it was suggested by my dermatologist. I'm also on the look out for an overnight eye cream.

I LOVE the Shisheido cream face cleanser. I use their anti-aging eye cream as well.

On the daily? I use an everyday Aveeno or Cetaphil facewash with Clairsonic and Clinique toner and Olek Henrikssen moisturizer.

I also use bare minerals as my go to make up that has helped my skin breathe during the day.

I stick with simple. I'm way too lazy to add more stuff to my routine.... so I hope this works for me in the future too.

For the 10 years of my twenties, I used the Clinique 3-step (face wash, toner, moisturizer). When I turned 30, I switched to Estee Lauder because I felt my skin was changing a little. I also like the Shiseido line. Regardless what you choose, I would suggest using products from the same line rather than one brand's face wash, another's lotion, etc. I'm not entirely sure it makes a difference but for me, it's completely psychological! LOL!

I am not in my late 20's anymore, but I also like to use drugstore stuff for the most part because I can easily replenish my supply and I think the prices are fair for what they do. I also hate the hard sell from department stores, so if I do buy something from a department store I choose Clinique too.

Anyway, I currently use Basis face wash, Nuetrogena moisturizer with sunscreen during the day and Clinique moisture surge every other night.

I'd suggest making an appt with a dermatologist to get an analysis of your skin and check for sun damage, I do it every year just to make sure I am treating my skin correctly. I used to think I had oily skin, but it turns out it was dry, which also caused breakouts in my skin. I also use a prescription cream for my mild acne, but I have used a mild Retin A in the past, which IMO is really the only thing out there that keeps wrinkles at bay. I stopped it when I was pregnant.

So I currently have a very simple skin care routine; I just use regular drug store face wash. I also wear a neutrogena face sunscreen when I'm going outside. And I'll use a clinque face lotion probably every other day.

I'm thinking it may be time to add some extra stuff in there, maybe a nicer face wash or something to prevent aging? Any suggestions, what does everyone else do?
