I knew it wasn't acid reflux because she wasn't throwing up. So I cut gassy foods and that seemed to help for about two weeks. Then we were right back at it. Then I started cutting major dairy and started seeing results in about 7 days. It was crazy what a huge difference it made. To be honest the thought of having a colicky baby scare me more than cutting dairy from my diet!! </p> <p>Best of luck to you. I'm a psychologist, from South Africa and live with my DH and sweet girl in JHB. </p> <p>This newborn thing has been HARD - we're dealing with something, goodness knows what but maybe acid reflux/colic/MSPI? Anyway, we're struggling in a big way so really looking forward to the support of HB (and while we navigate all the other scary newborn things!) </p>
