@mfa_lady: Another vote for APNO! Call your midwife and have them call a compounding pharmacy to get it filled.

@mfa_lady: yep! I got it from my OB. I think you can google a formula to make it yourself if your midwife isn't willing.

@Mrs.Someone: Is that the one you have to get prescribed? Would my midwife or DD's pediatrician do it?

So, DD and I went on a vacation with my mom and some of her friends last week. One night, DD woke up crying and I just let her nurse to sleep so she didn't wake up everyone in the whole house. Well, she (and her six teeth) basically used me as a pacifier all night even though we were both sleeping, and my nipple is wrecked.

It's still pretty raw and has bled a couple of times, but I'm still nursing and pumping all day so it never gets a break.

Anybody have tips for how to get it to heal quickly? Honestly, my supply has dipped a bit over the last month or so and I'm mostly afraid that it's going to dip even more since I can't pump at the same strength, etc. We've made it this far (DD is almost 9MO) and I'd hate for this to do us in.
