I started doing early bedtime. Around 6 months her bedtime was 5:30 and she'd sleep 14 hours! It sucked that my husband didn't really get to see her during the week but it's such a short phase that's over before you know it

That's just about when my two dropped their third nap! We moved bedtime earlier for a few days during the transition (about 30 minutes). I also found it easier to stretch the awake time between first and second nap.

My 5.5 month old seems to be pushing her awake time between naps which means the third nap either doesn't happen, or she wants to take it really late.

It's 5:30 and she is a MESS. Bedtime is only 7:00pm ... I think I'll let her take a 30 min cat nap in my arms before waking her up at 6:00 for supper and our bedtime routine.

Do you do late naps/early bed or just try to push through to regular bedtime?
