I know how you feel. I'm almost 39 weeks and everything just seems difficult and more painful to do lately. Everyone has been telling me to walk the baby out but they dont realize how much it hurts aftet a couple minutes. I've taken this time to continue nesting, relax and even got a haircut because I know once LO is here I won't be able to get one for awhile. I say indulge and treat yourself to a massage or Mani/pedi, mainly just do something for yourself before LO comes.

I'm almost 30 weeks and already bored to death! I'm a teacher so I'm off for the summer...and not due until the first week of school. I work on stuff for my maternity leave, go sit in my baby pool for a couple hours, take naps...not gonna lie, it is so boring though! I know I should be cleaning/tidying stuff, but I'm just not motivated at all.

lol I took two naps a day :) I cleaned a little, but not too much because it was too hard on my huge stomach.
I did do a few last minute DIY projects with my mom, bibs, burp cloths etc
I watched a lot of TV too, read many, many baby books, books about labor, wrote my birth plan, did things I knew i wouldn't want to do after baby like file taxes and organize papers/bins, listened to music, posted on WB, browsed pinterest, read magazines, went to the library, went grocery shopping, edited bump pictures, researched baby gear and browsed craigslist. I stayed pretty busy lol

I'm working full time and absolutely uncomfortable and miserable. If I wasn't working, I'd be floating in a pool or reading a book. The free time I do have has definitely been devoted to nesting so if I had even more free time, I would totally indulge myself.

I'm still working FT so that takes up a lot of my day, but I was so bored this weekend! Almost all the projects around the house are done so lots of sitting and walking around hoping I would go into labor. No luck.

I think I slept a lot during the day, because at night I couldn't get comfortable. I also went swimming at our community pool and out to lunch with my other expectant friends. It was December and it wasn't cold or icy, otherwise I'd have been inside!

Watch TV and walk around stores hoping I would go into labor (because it was already too hot to walk around outside comfortably).

I'm 38 weeks and trying to keep myself occupied. But it's a little tricky - I can't walk around much because my feet are ridiculously swollen and my crotch hurts, I'm DIYing a felt mobile (which I thought was a good idea) until carpal tunnel kicked in and my hands are now numb. I've been motivated to cook again but my feet and hands kill me afterwards. DH and I tried going out to eat and watched a movie (most likely for the last time in awhile) and it's tricky with the bathroom/walking situation.

I'm now browsing through Etsy and I know it's a bad idea because everything's looking so cute! I'm cheap as hell and yet I'm about to buy a potpourri sachet just because the embroidery matches the baby room. HELP!

What did you to keep busy?
