I wouldn't worry. I was a late teether. I walked before I had teeth! Granted I was an early walker, 9 months, so my first tooth was at 10 months. My mom said she was happy about it because it meant she didn't have to nurse with teeth as long : ) they all came in just fine & I have had a delightfully uneventful dental history =D

My son has been a drool monster since 4 months - literally soaks through 4 bibs a day. And has been gnawing on everything in sight and won't let me tough his gums. I can see his little two front teeth up there but they don't seem to be making any progress. No signs of the bottom teeth. So, he's been "teething" for 3 months but no teeth! He's 7 months.....

His first tooth finally came out by 10 months, but he had been teething at 4, 6, and 8 months beforehand and every time the teeth regressed.

We joke that Lala was "dentally retarded". I think it was around 9 months. Interestingly, she started cutting a tooth at about 3 months and then it regressed and didn't show back up until much later.

If your child was a late teether, when did that first tooth pop through? LO is 7 months and has zero signs of teething. No drool, not much chewing, and no bumps on her gums. My mom said I was a late teether, but she couldn't remember when I started.
