@shopaholic: just an FYI... you can get pills off with a regular disposable razor. Just shave the fabric like you're sweeping the floor! I do it to all my throw pillows, my linen couch, and all of our clothes!

Just submitted an email to try and exchange it. It was a gift from our registry.

@PrincessBaby: Yeah. It's from Amazon. I was thinking that. Because even the swaddle blankets didn't pill like the dream blanket did. :/

@shopaholic: where did you buy the dream blanket? I would get the stains out and then return it to where I got it and just tell them I washed as directed and it pilled up like that. Especially if you ordered from Amazon, omg they take anything back!

@TurtleDoves: Yeah I feel like an idiot for not thinking the red blanket would bleed. Never again!!!

UPDATE: SO - Oxi Clean is AMAZING! Almost all the dye bleed came out! All came out on the A&A blankets, so I'm not that upset about everything else. Sad thing though is that my stain-removal cycle on the washing machine was over 2 hours and must have been VERY rough because the Dream Blanket and sleepers came out super pill-y and the swaddle blanket seems a bit thin. But what are you going to do. At least the dye is GONE! :) I'm doing an Oxi-soak for a couple of left-over stained pieces and can see the dye dissolving already!

This happened to me!!! I washed my burgundy pillow cases with a bunch of LOs stuff and everything came out patchy:( I took the hearts out and treasured everything with Oxi Clean and it all came out. Granted: the yellows were a bit did colored as we're the beiges, but the other colors cleaned up nice. It was an idiot move on y part but honestly, after a wash, they looked fine.
Update us!

I had a scarf bleed on a bunch of stuff recently and I soaked the stained things in a big tub of oxyclean and cold water for about 1 day... When I washed next it was all out! This was also after I had dried them before noticing the stains. Good luck!

@shopaholic: They might have Carbona at Target too - I know they have RIT at fabric stores like Joann - or maybe if you have a Walmart that has a fabric/sewing department. Good luck!

@JerricaBenton: IDK where to get the first thing, but I think I remember seeing that Rit Dye Remover before. If I can't get out the dyes after this cycle, I'm going to run to Target to try and find the Rit! Thanks!

There is also a RIT one I've used before. They are supposed to be used on whites or colorfast items but if you have stuff that is ruined otherwise maybe it's worth a try?

Arghh!!! I just need to VENT!

Washed a small load of laundry to pack stuff for this weekend and included a RED silk baby blanket from my MIL (from China). It's the 3rd silk blanket we've gotten and the other 2 washed fine, so I figured this one would be too. Opened the laundry and HALF of the load is splotchy HOT PINK!

Here's where I SOB: It bled all over our Brand.New.A&A DREAM BLANKET. *sob* I only opened it because I wanted K to have a warmer blanket for the mountains this weekend. It bled on another one of her A&A Swaddle blankets, a bunch of her onesies, and one of my white nursing tanks, among other stuff I don't care as much about. In fact, it even bled on itself and the trim was all ruined! What a piece of cr_p!

I'm usually SO careful with laundry too! Washed it on Cold & Delicate, like I do all baby's stuff. I've used a whole Oxi Clean stick on the two A&A blankets and washing on super-stained cycle. Ah! I'm going to be so sad if the dream blanket is stained. Anyone ever BLEACHED their A&A blankets? IDK, the backside is grey. :/ #firstworldproblemsbutimstillsad

Lesson Learned: Trust nothing family brings back from China! Argh!
