@T-Mom: you're welcome. I always put some natures miracle in my rug scrubber, and sometimes in my tough laundry. That stuff is awesome.

I gave my MIL some natures miracle ( it's for pet stains) to get the vomit smell out of her carpet after BIL was sick at her house. It worked!

I'll try some of these suggestions, thanks guys!

oh my goodness!! DS just threw up the other day too but one normal wash got rid of it... I would suggest vinegar as well - it's a deodorizer. I think fels naptha soap might work too? That was my mom's cure all when I was a kid!

I would try running the clean cycle on your washer to make sure the smell hasn't gotten in there, and then rewashing the fabrics on the hottest cycle you have. You might also try Febreezing the fabrics and letting them sit out for a few hours before rewashing.

Does anyone have any tips on getting the smell of vomit out of laundry? Sorry, disgusting I know. DS has a stomach bug and it has been impossible to remove the vomit smell from the blankets and Pjs he threw up on. I have done the same load three times with no success, it is still there!. DH suggested hang drying in the sun, but it's raining! Thanks!
