Even though they're in two separate places, it's actually pretty great. We use the basement one (top loader) for DH's super gross work clothes, stripping diapers, and oversized items. Towels are so satisfying- you wash and dry and then only have to fold a few items and put them away. Kid clothes it's like 5000 items to make one load and I'm folding forever.
