They are working with us to try to get her in a little early so that we won't be out of daycare for a full month. I understand it really puts them in a bad position legally, but I'm so thankful that they're doing it. </p> <p>They also can't believe they're doing that to us. Mainly because class size ratios/enrollment numbers...sort of similar when I had to keep DS enrolled in school while I was on maternity leave with DD. Maybe it is because they don't have an opening even if you told them she would be enrolling? Does your daycare have a handbook? I am moving my youngest over as soon as she turns 18 months, which will be at the end of September. </p> <p>When I told this plan to her current daycare, she acted like it wouldn't be a problem (that was about 2 months ago). But, she just called me today, saying that they "canno thave DD2 enrolled with them if she won't be with them for the entire fall semester". </p> <p>I'm so freaking pissed off. This is daycare, not a school! How is it possible that they can just unenroll my child when I told them I need her to be there until the end of September?? </p>
