I was admitted in 2007 and I do not even remember doing this. But I would follow @justdarling: 's advice and choose two people with fairly significant careers if you are able to do so. I remember hearing my friends and classmates who were taking the NY bar complain about how crazy the C&amp;F process was there. I don't think we had that many restrictions on who we could use, though. I'm guessing I used one of my good friends from college as one reference and possibly a law school prof as another, but I'd have to go back to my copies of the applications to see who I actually put down. I think we did this as part of our initial application procedures, though, so it was months before we actually took the exam. I have provided affidavits to family friends applying for their license. I havent gotten my results yet but they want us to start filling out the forms in advance. The instructions say I cant use anyone i work with or have worked with because they are already providing employment affidavits.. Who did you use? </p>
