In order to make it work, I basically push the entire table into the corner of the banquette. This way, my 3.5 year old can eat at the table without a booster and without being too far away from the table. The way it is set up now, the chairs are ALWAYS in the way of walking through the kitchen. So my plan is to build a banquette or bench of some sort so that the table could be pushed more towards the wall / clear some space.</p> <p>Attached are some pics of what I was thinking, but it still seems awkward! The pic with the table and just chairs is how it currently is. The other two would be straight bench or an L shaped banquette.
