@mewtill: We do this too! Kind of like a cheap at home cobb salad. We use GIANT bowels and make huge ones so that it fills up DH but he loves it. I'm not sure they are so healthy after the chicken nuggets, shredded cheese, and ranch dressing though!

Ours is usually a rotisserie chicken.

If we plan a dinner, usually we can broil a piece of meat or fish on a pan with tin foil which doesn't really make any mess.

We call it Nugget Salad. We make chicken nuggets and throw in every salad-like vegetable we have in the fridge (lettuce, tomato, carrot, celery, olives, whatever we have on hand). The nuggets make it special. If we're feeling fancy, we'll hard boil an egg!

Rotesseri chicken and mac and cheese or veggie. Or I make huge batches of soup and freeze, I'll heat one of those up and make sandwiches.

"Sushi " (nori) rolls/kimbap, or fresh spring rolls. I guess you call them summer rolls? The ones with rice paper. OR I'll just dump whatever veggies we have in a pot and make a blended soup or sauce for pasta.

I love frozen ravioli and tortellini. I always make extra of my mom's spaghetti sauce recipe and freeze it, so when I'm feeling lazy I just heat it and pour it over the pasta.

Last night was a lazy dinner too, and it turned out awesome... We had BLATs - BLTs with avocado. We had baked sweet potato fries on the side.

@PUI: we did a chicken like that last night!

So this involves a pan, but we are fond of fried rice: brown frozen rice with any veggies thrown in and seasonings. Fried egg on top.

When we're lazy we usually buy a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and just boil some potatoes and steam a veggie.

Same for us -- bean tacos. a can of black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes in the same pan...sprinkle some taco seasoning. Heat. Pop the shells into the oven for a few minutes and voila. Mash up an avocado for guac. Literally done in barely 10 minutes.

What's your go-to meal when you feel like being super lazy? Like, no pans, and hardly any dishes.

Mine is tacos. A couple times a year I have a big cooking Saturday where I cook a ton of ground beef and chicken with onions, peppers, carrots, corn, beans and spices, then freeze it in meal-sized ziplock bags. I just get a bag out, rewarm it in a bowl, put it on tortilla shells and sprinkle some cheese and salsa on.
