We didn't have very many trick or treaters either. Oh and what's with kids not saying "trick or treat" or "thank you"?! Honestly, walking around in the dark seems really dangerous to me. They said Trick or Treat AND thank you. Last year we had a lot of grump faces. It was nice to get both! I also love it when the parents prompt the little kids and they shake their heads and stand there all nervous, with their heads down. In the town I grew up in, you couldn't walk anywhere to Trick or Treat, unless you wanted to only hit up two or three houses! We always drove around. He said "hold on" to his friend on the phone, said "Trick or Treat" to me, then went back to his phone conversation.
