I can tell you it felt so much better after the war drum ruptured, such a relief. So if she was uncomfortable before, she's at least probably feeling better now. But my hearing sucked in the ear for a few weeks- like if I was sleeping with my good ear down and just didn't hear my alarm. It ended up being a scratch. My pediatrician said it's usually they run a slight fever while sleeping, which heats up the inner ear and melts the wax and it runs out.
