I replaced the washers in the faucet handles. It was fairly cheap and easy to do. I actually googled how much that would cost us a year... and it was low ... 6 cents a year.</p> <p>It looks like 2 drips per second cost 1.5 dollars a year. I'd definitely fix it! The previous owner of our house failed to get water leaks fixed and we had some really bad rot under our floors from a water leak in the bathroom.
