<description>&#60;p&#62;I think it's fine as long as you're counting it into his overall screen time for the day and monitoring his usage.  DD has a Leapfrog Explorer she occasionally plays (once a week or less) and we take it on long car rides for exactly this purpose.  We do limit her playing time and count it toward her overall screen time for the day, when she does play it.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Does anyone have experience with Leapfrog tablets or other techy toys for a 3-4 year old? Thinking about getting one for our son for his 3rd birthday, to entertain him on our Christmas plane trip and hopefully help reinforce some of the things he's started learning at school. I feel kind of weird about so much technology at this age but I don't know why it seems like it might be a good idea!?
