Like...when my husband is messy, I'm more likely to be messy (And vice versa). </p> <p>So when I was single, it was so much easier because I would clean my house, no one else was there to mess it up, and I was more likely to do the small amount of work to clean up after just myself and keep it looking nice. But now if I come home from work and there is already a messy pile of shoes by the door--to make it neat, I have to stop and tidy ALL the shoes and remove the socks and put them in the dirty laundry bin. I don't want to do that when I first get home from work, so I just add my shoes to the growing pile. He helps a lot around the house, but his method is to let things pile up and then do a lot at once, instead of picking up after himself as he goes. I can also blink and all of a sudden 4 pairs of my shoes have collected by the front door! :silly: I used to be much dirtier in the car, but have really worked on that since we got a new vehicle. I'm also better than DH at picking up all the baby stuff at the end of each day. </p>
