@birdofafeather: Sorry!! I didn't realize you had replied to me! Ironically enough, after the first two nights he did just that...slept like a dream for dad - total proud Mama moment! ;)

Haven't left LO for more than a night at 14 months, but whenever I did leave her for a night, she always slept better than when I was there! Good luck mama! It's hard but LO will so great and it's good for dad to take care of the nighttime stuff too!

Perfect! I'll hope that will happen for them. I would be a little jealous but happy! Thanks @Corduroy:

He'll be fine. LO's seem to know there's no point in getting up when there are no boobs around. That's my experience anyway. I think I've spent three nights away and she didn't even wake up two of those nights. She never let ME sleep like that.

I am heading to Vegas for my sisters stagette on Thursday, I am super excited but also sad/anxious to leave my boy for the first time. He'll be with his Daddy, Baba and Nana so in the best hands...but I can't help but feel emotional about it!
On top of it all...I am still breastfeeding, and he still has night wake ups in which I nurse (we co sleep after his fist or second wake up). I'm leaving frozen milk but am afraid he will be inconsolable as I'm really the only one that has ever dealt with night wakings. He's not on the Daddy wagon right now either.
Any advice Mama's? I know he'll be ok....but any tips on making it easier for him? And Daddy?
Side note - when did you leave your LO for longer than one night?
