Congrats on the new job!

It will be hard but you can totally do this! I'm sure that you and your husband have your routines down pat now so that meltdowns are much less likely to occur. if it makes you feel better maybe you can do some trial runs where your husband does everything by himself with you on standby before you need to leave?

@mrbee: I think it was a combination of things. Internet and TV went down in the morning and was down all day and then LO would not go down for his afternoon nap, DH got urgent call from work he needed to deal with but he couldn't get online because the Internet was down then LO started screaming and pretty much didn't stop till I got home at 4 pm.

You totally can do it. Plus when the baby is at daycare it helps with those meltdown times.

So, I just got a call today that I am getting an offer on a job that I recently interviewed for. That is great news, the only thing I'm a little worried about is the fact that I have to go to San Diego for a week for training. DH watched LO for 2 weeks when I returned to work and all went well except for one day, which went really really bad. LO had a melt down and so did DH. LO is now in daycare and so DH would really only need to get him ready for daycare in the morning and then put him to bed at night. But I'm so anxious... I've never left my baby for more than 8 hours. Please reassure me that I can do this, I can be away from my sweet baby boy for a week.
