But we leave the lid up. We don't have cats and our dog has zero interest in drinking from the toilet.</p> <p>I would be HORRIFIED if my husband ever left the seat up at someone else's house. At guest's home I try to "leave it like I found it". If they have the lid down, then I will put the lid down when I'm done. I have animals and I use bleach tabs in my topilet bowl. However, we had friends over yesterday and the one guy left the toilet seat up every time he used to toilet! I think at someone elses house, that is pretty rude. Does your DH leave the toilet seat up? Do your guests?</p> <p>ETA: As in, the actual seat, not the lid :) </p>
