I'm super prone to clogged ducts, and find taking lecithin helps remove the clog faster since massaging and hot compresses don't always work. When I took it religiously, I found that I would be clog free! Woohoo, but I'm terrible at remembering to take supplements.

I bought it, but only needed to use it for a few days! I only had a clogged duct once, but I was told it would help prevent or get rid of quicker. I got rid of the clogged duct overnight with pressure from a hot water bottle on top of the area and massage. I don't think it hurts to try!

Yes. It worked wonders for me. I was getting painful clogged ducts regularly and lecithin was like magic. I didn't read about it until I had been bf'ing for a couple of months...wish I had known sooner and saved myself a lot of pain. I take supplements 3x a day. It took my body about a week to adjust (stomach), but it was well worth it for me.

I used it with my first LO after getting clogged ducts almost weekly and it was amazing! As long as I took it every day ( I just scooped a spoonful into my cereal every morning), I didn't have any more clogged ducts. I missed a week whilst on holiday when LO was 5 months and I got mastitis within a few days, so yeah, lecithin definitely worked wonders for me!

I'm 6 days postpartum with #2 right now and need to go out and get some today. I want to be proactive this time and I can already feel clogs starting to form. Ugh.

Did anyone try this?
Did it help/hurt?

I've gotten a nasty bout of mastitis twice already so the LC recommended I try lecithin. Just was wondering what others experiences were.
