I had a colposcopy but required follow-up paps every 3 months until they came back normal. I don't think you need to worry! Easier said than done, I know :)

I had a LEEP about 2 years ago, and mine also came back precancerous. I'm now 31w pregnant with my first baby, have had zero problems in pregnancy because of it, and had 2 normal paps before pregnancy. Don't worry! The LEEP is meant to get it all, and as long as you stay on top of things, there is no reason to worry.

I had a LEEP done 10 years ago (when I was 19) and my cells also came back precancerous. In the early years, I had 2 or 3 pap smears come back with abnormal cells but they never turned into anything concerning. I haven't had any abnormal cells in about 7 years and am back to normal, annual pap smears. I'm also 33 weeks pregnant with our first and have had no issues whatsoever. They did a cervical check on me at about 16-20 weeks (I can't remember exactly) just to make sure my cervix was strong enough (because of the LEEP). Everything looked great!

I know it's scary. Every time you hear the word cancer it's terrifying. Just remember how common this procedure is and that for the vast majority of women nothing ever comes from it. Good luck!

I had 2 LEEP procedures done and that was before having J, I did talk to my obgyn about it long ago and she assured me I would be okay to have kids and ordered me to stop consulting with dr google. I highly recommend talking to your dr if you have concerns, it put me at ease for sure.

I had a LEEP about 9 months ago. Since then, my one Pap was clear. My doctor has assured me that there really is nothing to worry about with pregnancy. There is a very slight risk of preterm labor due to the weakened cervix. My doctor said she would measure my cervix around 20 weeks to make sure everything looked okay. Other than that, just keep up with the repeated paps and everything will be okay.

I had a LEEP a few years ago. My first test 3 months later came back with still some bad cells, but every test after that came back totally normal. I've been free of any bad cells for 5 years now. I know it's really really scary to go through this but most of the time the LEEP cures the problem. Wishing nothing but the best results for you!

Hello I recently had a leep procedure to remove abnormal cells last week, I recieved my results on friday yes the cells removed were precancerous and they were CIN 2, and CIN 3. My doctor says it looks like we got most of it and not to worry, however I am due back for another pap and biopsy in 3 months. I have two little girls but I am so afraid and want to be able to have more children in the future. I dont want it to be cancer or cause any problems. I feel so helpless. Any suggestions? Any Advice
