They're low rise, super stretchy and I continued to wear them after pregnancy. Sounds like they may not be for you though? You definitely have different expectations from your clothing than I do, if you're accustomed to being able to functionally utilize your pants pockets. Jeans pockets are so tiny/tight that I don't miss them when I wear leggings. I find them way more comfortable than jeans but not as comfy as most yoga pants (boot cut type). I have scummy leggings that pick up lint and grossness (lululemon ugh!) yet I have several pairs of Zella which are sleek and smooth and suck me in<br /> Although I don't typically wear them with sweater or tunics, I do wear them a lot. And DH likes them! </p>
