We love Tea leggings. They fit my skinny girls the best and hold up well over time. The dark colors. do fade a bit with multiple washings but still look nice. Tea has a bunch on sale for $10 right now and other retailers often have older season colors. If your DD isn't skinny I might size up one size (my 16m old can comfortably wear both 24m and 2t and my skinny 4yo can wear both 4 and 5).

My 6yo is super hard on leggings and we went all with the Lands End Iron Knee this year with good results so far.

I like Cat and Jack (Target) and Tea leggings. Cat and Jack are less expensive. I like some of Tea's patterns, though. They are running a sale right now!

In the winter months my daughter really prefers the Boden "cozy leggings" - they have a really nice wide waist band and are nice and thick. They are by far her favorite pants, and hold up very nicely.

If you’re willing to splurge, Hanna Andersson leggings are really thick and soft. I like them because they come in a “slim” cut that fits my oldest well - she really needs more of a 5-6 in length, but a 4 (max!) in width. 110cm works well for her.

We also do lots of Cat & Jack leggings, and jeggings/corduroy treggings from H&M (both have fake front pockets and real back pockets, do they look more like actual pants).

DD1 has ripped 4 pairs of pants in the last few months, and DD2 just ripped a hand me down Cat and Jack pair last week :crying: So - I am trying to invest better! Right now I really like the ones by Primary, super soft and thick and holding up well. I just did a 25% off order with them this week. Not the cheapest option, but great colors, and since I'm hoping they will last through 2 kids, worth it!

We pretty much have cat and jack leggings for play and for school (we have a loose uniform policy) she wears the yoga pants from primary. She’s tall / has long legs which may help but they look pretty nice for a comfy pant. She complains about anything uncomfortable so I’ve been happy to find a decent option.

My DD is very hard on her clothing and has been a legging girl since she was 3 (* She's 10 and ONLY wears leggings, jeggings, and pants with stretch.).

The Children's Place has great leggings, peggings (pant/legging hybrids) and jeggings. Also on the list: FabKids (online store ... they are having a $3 legging sale NOW), Gap Kids (great leggings and jeggings), and Carters (Very soft and high quality). All have awesome Black Friday sales.

I have a chunky little 2 year old. I get Tucker & Tate "jean" leggings for her. I'm about to order size 4t! I'm hoping to get them on sale.

@Corduroy: I really like the cat and jack leggings at target. They are thicker and softer than carters and most of the regular ones are $5 full price (the cozy ones are a bit more). They have a one year guarantee that the knees won’t rip. And they frequently run sales that bring the price down a dollar or so. I also really like these soft jeggings I got there but that one was toddler size. I assume they are the same in little girls though.

DD just went through a growth spurt and I need to buy some size 6 pants. I’m hoping to take advantage of some Black Friday sales. DD is into leggings but I’d like to get some other pants in the mix. The leggings I buy seem to wear out so quickly. Any suggestions?
