@Danizaur: @Mae: Finally put two and two together and realized that I actually felt like this after I hiked a mountain. Plus my potassium was low on a recent metabolic panel and when I got a prenatal massage the masseuse commented that I had a lot of tension in that spot. So I probably need to up my potassium and work out that tension!

I had part of my leg go numb at 6 weeks and it has never come back. My doc said its normal because the growing uterus (regardless of weight) shifts things around and pinches off nerves, etc. She did tell me though that if I had weakness to call her. So I'd assume its a nerve issue? But also that you should prob call to get it checked just to be sure.

@Danizaur: Still happening...it's kind of tingly too. I guess if it doesn't go away by later in the day I'll call or something? It's weird that it would suddenly start hurting since I haven't really gained weight in a few weeks.

@spaniellove: hmm. I don't know. That sounds a lot like what I'm experiencing NOW at 39w3d and I'm humongous. Lol. Just sore legs from the extra strain. Is it still happening or did it pass? If it's still going on I'd call your provider, but I wouldn't be too worried.

How far along are you now? My legs started to feel weak after awhile from the extra strain of carrying the baby. But this was around 25 weeks or so and I have gained a LOT of weight this pregnancy.

Sorry I didn't know how else to describe it. Yesterday my legs (really my thighs) started feeling weak and wobbly, as if I'd just hiked up and down a mountain. A few hours later it became this ache with the weakness whenever I stood up and it would get so bad that I couldn't walk and and needed support to stand in one place. Once I'm sitting/lying down it eventually stops.

This doesn't sound like what I've read about leg cramps so I was wondering if anyone had any clue what it was?
