@birdieputt: yeah and there's the whole having to lean forward to reach my computer, thus having to spread my legs wider than I like so my belly fits between them. ;-) Ha!

i'd take a quick break every hour or so (use the bathroom, go to the printer or get water). when i sat with my feet propped up on a box for too long, sometimes i'd get lower back pain. so when i wasn't using a box under my desk, i'd pump my feet up and down while i was sitting to keep my circulation going.

@mediagirl: Definitely try that. I have a printer under my desk and I rest my feet on top of it while I sit in my chair and it really helps with combating the numbness.

I had that a lot. But I don't have any advice. Sorry, hope you figure it out, it's soooo annoying!

@mediagirl: I put a box under my desk and kept mine elevated! I seriously think I have a flat butt because I was sitting my entire pregnancy (almost!)

@chopsuey119: Nooooo...they're under my desk. :) It's hard to work (I use dual monitors with my computer) and elevate my feet.

I'm actually having the opposite problem - restless legs. But my butt sometimes goes a little numb at work. I'm trying to get up and walk around more often (not hard with all the peeing I have to do lately). I also sit on a pillow to relieve pressure on the days when my butt is especially troublesome.

Did anyone have this problem during pregnancy? My feet keep falling asleep at work! Last night (TMI alert) I was sitting on the toilet and seriously, BOTH of my legs, all the way up to my knees fell asleep.

Any suggestions on how to combat this? Would sitting on an exercise ball help? I figure I'm restricting something and that's what is causing it and maybe a ball would help? I have a super awesome and padded chair, so it's not like I'm sitting on a wood chair here...or porcelain. :)
