For me doing something festive weekly from now through the new year really helps keep the joyful, warm feeling going. It was relatively rare that I even saw a tree in my neighbors' windows, but maybe their trees were just out of view--condo buildings aren't well suited for light displays. The decorations and lights I see in the 'burbs are almost all done by individuals who are just really into it, and I feel like there are a ton of them! One of my favorite things to do after Thanksgiving is driving around looking at lights. But then again, I live in Texas and some houses have lights on the roof that say "Jesus is the reason for the season." Which I agree so I love Christmas! There are so many more lights, decorations... now that we're living in the suburbs, it just doesn't feel as Christmas-y anymore :( And that makes me sad.</p> <p>Anyone else feel like that?
