So I still had to extract him from the tree last year. But, then I do really love the unboxing and discovering of ornaments after a year in storage, looking at each one while we place them on the tree. I have always been fresh fresh fresh and my DH tried and tried year after year to get me to switch. And I said no.. untillll this year. I can't believe it, I caved. Mostly bc I was able to put it up earlier and i can leave it up longer. </p> <p>But let me tell you that they lie about it be "easier" than a real tree. There is nothing easier about a fake tree at all!!! It took me hours, yes hours to "fluff" it and make it look decent... with a real one you don't have to do that crap, it looks beautiful naturally!!!! I never really had any issues with a real one, i mean sure there were some lost needles at the end of the season i'd have to sweep and vacuum but trust me that is way easier than fluffing a prickly odd shaped thing into gorgeousness.
