I would encourage you to be honest and quit before. I had a realllly hard time finding a job this summer because I was pregnant, and part of it is because employers worry women will just quit after maternity leave. I was told that if I don't return to work, I can be asked to pay back the companies contribution to our insurance for the duration of the maternity leave.
