@photojane: Do you use a screen protectant or a stylus or anything? Or just let her use her fingers?

I've been crunching numbers. The LG G Pad 8.3 Lte is going to cost us $99 for a 2 year contract (no big, that' basically the amount we saved on Mr. Bear's LG G3). It will be an additional $10 a month on the bill (again, no big, most of my stuff will be wifi).

If we get an expansion Micro SDHC card a 32GB one from SanDisk is running for about 15.99 plus 4.99 shipping. And the case I was looking at - leather with blue tooth detatchable keyboard since it will be primarily for my use - would run us about $38.58 but all of those are extras. We can wait on the 'nice' case and the SDcard (Christmas??) and just protect it for now.

Gosh now my head is spinning.

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: Yeah, easy to use. Apple's OS is definitely more straight forward and user friendly, but it's not complicated. It has multiple screens, so if you want to have a screen for the kids' games/movies/etc. and one for yourself, you can. I don't like that the speakers are on the back, but it's not a huge deal. It's a good size. It fits in my bag.

I have this case from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K3VVD66/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Sadie throws it all the time, and it's basically indestructible. It also has a kickstand, which is nice for movies.

@photojane: That's what I thought I remembered someone saying, that they had it for their daughter. Guess that means it's pretty easy to use? :P Hubs wants to get it for me.

That's what we have for Sadie. It was free when we bought our phones. I prefer Apple's OS, but I really like it. It does what it's supposed to.
